The Society of Cambridge Youths is dedicated to ringing the bells for the services at Great St Mary’s both for the Parish and the University. Founded in 1724 the society is the second oldest ringing society at any church in the world with a continuous history of its ringing.

A full report on all the 300th year celebrations has been written by Liz Orme.
To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Society a project is in progress to build a History of all the members of the Society, past and current. When complete the SCY Member History will be available to any SCY member to view details of past members. Information on living members will not be made available unless that member has a legitimate reason (e.g. historical research) and been granted permission. Access is strictly controlled via secure user name/password.
