As part of the year of celebrations the SCY will be making it’s debut appearance at the Cambridge Folk Festival.
This prestigious cultural event runs from Thu 25 – Sun 28 July 2024 and we are delighted that Cambridge City Council has supported our bid to take Ringing to the festival.
Utilising the Charmborough Ring and our Handbells we will give visitors an experience of ringing on tower bells, to have a go themselves and to take part in handbell workshops. (Pleased to say we probably have enough volunteers now, we need about 10/day).
